Holy Ghost Meeting UK - Rodney Howard Browne

Holy Ghost laughter real or fake?

Christian Lifestyle, Christianity, Everyday Living, holy ghost laughter, rodney howard browne, Testimony

So last night I went to my first ever Rodney Howard Browne meeting. I am not one to go to a lot of ‘church meetings’ but Saturday I felt to go, my husband was already adamant he would go too. The church meeting was Sunday and it was the very same church we had met in exactly 2 years ago, Kensington Temple in London. I knew that God would do something great this day. We went with great expectancy that God would do something significant in our lives. I have seen Rodney’s videos before and I admire them along with Kenneth Hagin’s Holy Ghost meetings.

Ever since our visit to Poland in March earlier this year I’ve seen a lot more manifestations of the spirit in laughter within our meetings. I’ve not, not believed in it, I just haven’t experienced it for myself. Don’t get me wrong I speak in tongues, I believe in the power and miracles of Jesus. I guess I am more observant as I’ve grown up with seeing people who ‘fake’ the falling in the Spirit, as we say “slain in the spirit”. However, lately I’ve been more open to the Holy Spirit saying that Lord if I do go down or anything I want it to be so genuine that not even a man needs to touch me. So what happened? God did just that!

During the meeting last night Rodney spoke of countless meetings in which the joy of the Lord broke out. My husband sitting next to me instantly was sensitive to the spirit and started saying he could feel the Holy Spirit tangibly. A woman starts hysterically laughing on our aisle and Rodney calls her forth and that’s it bang, she’s slain on the floor. Another woman laughs, gets called forth bang! Before you knew it Rodney calls my husband forth asks him what he does and bang! He’s on the floor like an electrocuted fish!! This gave me goosebumps and tingly feet.  My heart was racing and I’m there saying “Ok God, do what you want with me”. Rodney pulls a few people forth most our friends and they all slump to floor like a sack of potatoes, my heart rejoices as I know God is doing something amazing in them.
Then Rodney comes to the guy in front of me (picture attached) and I start laughing. Then I start laughing, like hysterically!! What happened next was the beginning of my first ever real experience with the Holy Spirit, it was laughter in the Spirit. It was something I’ve seen in a Kenneth Hagin video but had never experienced for myself. I’m laughing, then I’m jumping in my seat, it feels like metres high at a time. In that moment your mind doesn’t have time to think, comprehend or care! This is a spiritual matter. I start jumping in my seat and before I know it I’m up and dancing like a crazy woman in my aisle! All dignity out the window and the Holy Spirit is just all over me and I’m dancing at like 60mph on the spot. I am filled with a supernatural joy that is indescribable and I just can’t stop laughing. It’s so true you can’t ever say! I think I’ve had an encounter with the Holy Spirit”, you just know!
I certainly know that I got touched last night and something happened in the spirit realm that I know will have a ripple effect for the rest of my life and for our ministry. A pinnacle one in fact!

We are ministering in Wolverhampton this weekend, which I know will be a very powerful meeting and I am certainly expectant of the Holy Spirit to break out in a greater way. If you want to be there register here
This is just the beginning and I know something significant has taken place. The UK will not remain the same and revival is going to break out through US, the body of Christ. Hallelujah!

Conclusion: Manifestations of the Holy Spirit? Absolutely real!!

Learning how to dance in the rain – Gods way

Christian Lifestyle, Everyday Living, Grace Talk, Woman to Woman

Literally sometimes it’s better to say nothing than say anything at all, but when you are saying something, what are you saying?

God has been speaking to me for the last fortnight about perspective and our words toward God. Are we mumbling, and groaning when we spend time with God or are we in awe, thanking Him for who He is? For the last two weeks, in the midst of challenging situations I’ve been thanking Him and magnifying God and His beauty over my ‘feelings’ and what I’ve been facing. This has really helped me have some of the best couple of weeks, during the most challenging of times.

Thankfulness

Reading Romans 1:21 “because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened”. When your heart is dark, it’s hard. Ezekiel 36:26 refers to the OT’s people’s hearts and refers to the heart which Christ would give us “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh” The Spirit gives us a heart of flesh, because Christ now lives in us. It’s the humble heart that surrenders and says I can’t do this on my own, I need Jesus and His strength. The people of the OT said they knew how to do things ‘their’ way and whatever needed doing, they could ‘do’ Exodus 19:8 (emphasis added).

Our hearts can become hardened when we aren’t thankful, but most importantly thankful to God. I’ve met people that appreciate what they have but don’t look to God as the one who gave them their blessings. They “worked hard” for that house, to raise the children, to put food on the table. This puts the glory on themselves, now yes, we do work and we do work hard. However, who gave you that job – to be able to pay for the house – to eat food on that table?? Where did the wood for that table come from?? We must thank the creator, not the created.

A great place to start is with your own life. In example, if you have a big bill to pay but you don’t have the money to pay for it. Find ten, twenty things to thank God for. Thank Him He is bigger than your bill and that He will provide for you because His word says in a popular scripture, which we all know and quote Philippians 4:19 “And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” BUT, we must read what the scripture says in context. Read the scriptures before to paint the full story:

V4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

V6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

V8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things!!!

Then it goes on to say and God shall supply…Have a think on this and have a read of Romans 1 and Phillipians 4, I know I am speaking to you this morning. Ah but you don’t know Tanya I’ve been here for so long.

You can make a change now. Don’t get involved in complaining, the more you magnify and glorify God, making Him bigger than anything and EVERYthing in your life, you will see a drastic change. No one wants to be around a complainer. The more positive you are and speaking life the more people would want to be around you.

People would rather be around a slow worker whose positive than a fast worker who’s miserable and always complains.

Eternity, having the perspective of eternity and thanking God will help you to magnify Him and minimise your problems. Whatever you’re going through whichever situation you’re facing. What’s your outlook? If you’re letting problems get to you. Your eyes aren’t on Jesus. Magnify Jesus and your problems will be looked in perspective.

I challenge you, whatever situation you are currently facing. Thank God for all the good He’s done, doing, going to do in your life. I promise you, your day will begin to get a lot better, and so will your relationship with your lovingly Heavenly Father.

After all when we’re in Heaven, will this problem be so big then?

Encouragement for women in ministry!

Love, marriage, ministry, relationships, women

As a newly wed and growing in ministry I would like to say I live normally, but I don’t. Most of our spare time is spent travelling for speaking engagements, responding to emails, prayer requests and meeting women for one-to-one ministry. Our car is like a caravan with various outfits, media equipment and marketing materials all over our much appreciated Corsa! I do love what I do, but at times it has been hard.

Often I wonder what it would be like if we weren’t in ministry and if my husband wasn’t the amazing evangelist that he is. I could say we would live the quieter life, but then I wouldn’t enjoy the buzz of doing what we do best!! I once had a talk with God asking Him if I could do this? His response was “Tanya, I have said you are fit for the job! NO other woman could be the ‘YOU’ that I have designed for Daniel” That was a sincere Selah moment for me.

Therefore, I take it all in my stride, knowing I am where God wants me to be and just use it to encourage and help support others that may be facing similar situations.

Being a ministers/Pastors wife is NO easy job!! As the much loved saying goes “Behind every good man is a GREAT (emphasis on great) woman! We often are the secret behind their strength, something like Samsons hair except it’s on MY head! That said, my husband too is my strength! I do love Daniel, he is a great support to help me grow spiritually and as a wife!

So ladies, whatever situation you are facing, know that

  1. You ARE the woman for the job
  2. You will get through it and your testimony of it WILL help someone else
  3. You are NOT alone
  4. If you’re honest with yourself, you’ll be honest with God and others
  5. It is important to know your identity and what God has called you to do
  6. Do not keep it bottled in, know who you can trust, speak to your friends AND your spouse (communication is key!)
  7. Find other women that you can look up to
  8. Discern the wiles of the enemy, Eph 6:11(know when it’s warfare)
  9. When you’re in the situation not to focus on ‘now’, keep looking to the future
  10. Enjoy life!! Know you’re loved by God, take a bubble bath, have a massage, do what makes you happy and have ‘me’ time

On that note, I shall do absolutely nothing for the rest of this evening except spend quality time with my husband 🙂

Premier Christian Radio

So today I had the privilege of sharing my testimony on Premier Radio’s woman to woman show! I had to drive from home (Bedfordshire) to London. It was all going smoothly until traffic! I say to myself “I’m going to get there” regardless of mile end tailbacks. “The doors God has opened for me no man or traffic can close”! Lol.
I get to London and back to the running around on tubes, which remind me of what life actually used to be like living in London, a rat race! I do love London and it was all well and good but I can honestly say I am happily adjusted to living out in the country!
I get to the Premier offices and I sit down trying to get my breath back patting my perspiring forehead and trying to act well composed when I feel so bad I’m late! My body finally regulates and I’m back to normal. Then out comes Maria the host and she is just glowing. We see people’s pictures but it never does them justice. Maria is even more beautiful in person. She is so welcoming,  loving and chilled. I apologise for being late but she’s cool. I come in to the studio on a break and then she goes on live. Her radio voice is just so perfectly matched. Some people were born for these things!  Then I get ready and we’re live! It was a fun morning. Sharing on what God has done for me and how far He’s bought me and now I’m sharing this very same story to thousands of listeners across the country! What a privilege. Maria and I have great talks in between breaks and our final break consists of us talking about fostering and young people which really stirs me up and gets me excited! This helped me really flow on the last section and before you know it. That’s a wrap! It was such a great morning and I thank God for the opportunity. You can have a listen here X

Tracing roots – Who am I?

Auschwitz, Tracing roots
Daniel Chand, Tanya Chand

Daniel and Tanya Chand will be in Poland in March 2015

Who am I, is a question that is sought throughout a persons lifetime. Many die without actually knowing who they are. Not having a father my entire life left a huge void in my heart and an unanswered question of who am I?

Well I thank God for Jesus! He is who I am. He has given me a new identity. Has restored me to my greatest father God. I am now adopted into the Kingdom of His dear son. I now know who I am.

As some of you may know, I am half Polish and my Father left before I was born, so I know very minimal about my Polish heritage. With this week being the memorial of Auschwitz, I still cannot watch a full interview about the genocide without tears coming to my eyes. My heart knows there is a deeper connection than a compassion towards what happened. I was always attracted to the story of Anne Frank and the stories of the Genocide that took place in the early 1940’s as a young girl.

I still wonder who am I, in the sense of where do I come from. Who were my great grandparents? Therefore, I have decided to embark on a journey to discover my roots.

I have always been intrigued but it began late last year at the end of 2014. Daniel and I had just returned from our honeymoon to Mexico. As I do every year, I reflect at the end of each year for vision and what I want to do for the next year (2015). Especially after having got married, it does change you. In the sense that you appreciate the smaller things in life as in families. More so, seeing as we will go on to start our own family shortly.

So I discussed this with Daniel asking too what were his visions and what he desired to accomplish? I mentioned many things of what I wanted and one of them being a visit Poland, to learn more about my heritage. Daniel was really supportive of this, and he always is! I thank God for such a wonderful Husband, honestly, he supports me in all my hearts desires!!

I want to testify to Gods faithfulness and support within our dreams. He (God) truly does give us the desires of our heart! I mentioned this in passing to Daniel, not having any plans set in stone. Yet, God was listening!

One month later I am able to say we have our tickets booked to touch foot in Poland! As we have been invited to minister in Katowice near Krakow. Which is where I wanted to go. So on March 12th (a few days after my birthday yaaay!) Daniel and I have our tickets booked and paid for and are officially travelling to Katowice, and Krakow to explore the beautiful country of Poland for a long weekend!! I am very excited as we will also be teaching at a church for a weekend conference and doing street evangelism!

So I have begun my quest to discover my roots in time for our journey in March when we arrive in Poland. I am trusting in God that from now until March I will have solid information on my roots to be able to go and discover more about where I come from.

I have contacted ancestry registrars and working alongside them to get further information. I am believing in God for a miraculous testimony!

I will finish by saying yes, this is a quest to discover my identity (my earthly identity). First and foremost I am a daughter of God. I know my bloodline in Jesus and who I am IN Him. This is purely for my own knowledge and understanding 🙂

Fasting under the New Covenant – Daniel Fast

Christianity, Daniel Fast, Fasting, Health, Well-Being

The Old Covenant was for those living under the law

The New Covenant is for those who are led by the Spirit

We (believers) who live after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are now called New Covenant believers, who are led by the Spirit (“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God” Romans 8:14)

This is my personal understanding on fasting. As a New Covenant believer I do not fast for ‘religious duties’ and neither do I fast to ‘get’ God to move. God has already moved, He has already moved sin out-of-the-way in the body of Jesus Christ “once for all” (Heb 10:10) and “sin has been condemned in the flesh” Romans 8:3. We are not fasting to ‘get’ because we ‘have’, everything has been provided for at the cross through Jesus. You are already blessed with every spiritual blessing (Ephesians 1:3), you have already been healed (1 Peter 2:24), you are already forgiven (Ephesians 1:7), and you are already holy (1 Peter 2:9). Therefore, when I am fasting I fast to spend consecrated time with God, to be focused on Him (not me), and to be focused on His word.

“We fast to get our minds in line with God’s word and to have a greater understanding on what He’s already done – Creflo Dollar

 Ok, so here we go.

I think it is always nice to have an understanding into fasting so here are a few truths and I will give you ideas of different types of fasts. You can choose, which you feel led to do.

Spiritual benefits of fasting

  • It’s a time for you to solely focused on God and His word
  • It is a good way to gain self-control over your flesh (showing you have dominion over your flesh in more than one way)

Physical benefits to fasting

  • You sleep better
  • Your bowel movements are regulated and healthier
  • Improves your immune systems and your metabolism is improved
  • Is good for your skin and body

Top Tips (prior) to beginning your fast Fasting, why is it so hard?

  • I usually cut out all caffeine (herbal teas included, any caffeinated) a couple of days prior to fasting, as when you stop all of a sudden you can get really bad headaches! This is due to the toxins leaving your body
  • Start cutting out any of the sugary or bad food as well
  • Try reducing the amount of food consumption to get your body prepared
  • I always find that getting ‘mentally prepared’ truly helps you to stay focused, disciplined and stick it out!
  • When eating foods on a Daniel Fast, be very careful for the ingredients in food! You’ll actually come to realise that there are HUGE amounts of E numbers, Artificial additives and lots of icky things that you will begin to eliminate from your entire diet as a way of life after this!
  • Drink lots of water! Stay hydrated and a lot of our hunger really is thirst
  • Do spend time in the word and in prayer during your fast
  • Listen to good teaching
  • Keep a journal to note what you feel God is speaking to you about, any dreams you have and any scriptures that really speak to you during this time
  • Don’t shout it from the rooftops!

article-2317699-02C14BF100000578-711_634x613

Types of fasts

  • No food – just water
  • Daniel Fast
  • Partial fast (to have only light dinner/ only light breakfast etc.)

I will be sharing on a daniel fast, as this is a fast I tend to do more often over longer periods of time. I.e: 3 days, 7 days, 10 days etc. You choose can choose which you prefer.

Before we begin, please feel free to contact us: edensmastrpiece@outlook.com or www.edensmasterpiece.org if you need someone to speak to or be there for you as you embark on your fast

Begin

  1. Decide how long you wish to fast (if it is your first time or you are not familiar with fasting start off with 1 day then move to 3 and grow from there).
  2. Decide which fast you will take part in
  3. Plan, when you will eat and what you will eat.
  4. DO check which foods you should and should not eat
  5. Take note of my tips above and most importantly, enjoy! This is not a penance

If you break your fast on the first day, don’t beat yourself up. We’ve all been there. You’re more than welcome to let us know and we can be there for you. Take your time and know that even if you don’t complete your fast God still loves you regardless. His love for you does not change based on your performance and neither does it make you any less or a bad Christian!

Why God made Eve?

Uncategorized

127602292

In the beginning God created Adam and then the woman. He created them differently. Just as the body with different functions, men and women we function differently (even living on different planets sometimes!). Women are more intuitive and men are more logical. Women like to go to the toilet with their friends, whilst men can contently go on their own. This though is the beauty of being a woman, that we are so mysterious. Just like when I met my husband, before we were together he got to know me, he got to find out what I was about. Then he liked what he saw, then resulting in us wanting to spend the rest of our lives together. Now even as a husband and wife, we continue to discover each other day by day.

Eve was formed from Adams rib. Question: What does the rib do? So many people I have asked this question to have very quickly responded “to protect the heart”! Answer: Yes, however, I would like to throw a different outlook into the mix. The rib is a vital part to the skeletal infrastructure. The rib curves from the front of the body around to the back. Just as women know, we certainly do, do a lot behind the scenes! Women have been created with amazing attributes, beautiful characteristics and numerous capabilities.

When God created man God said “It is not good for man to be alone” Genesis 2:18          notice: It did not say man was lonely! The passage goes on to state that God would make a helper. The word “helper” here holds the same meaning as that in the New Testament to describe the “Holy Spirit”; being called to ones side. This shows that women play a vital role within supporting men as  a helper, comforter, adviser just as the Holy Spirit! What an honor ladies!

The men lead us, we like to be led, they are natural-born leaders (God has called men to be the leaders in the family & marriage Ephesians 5:23), as a wife you are called to encourage your man to be the leader and not to contend that. This does not mean it is ok for manipulation and dominance, but the man should always love, trust and respect his wife so that she would be happy and comfortable with her husband taking the lead in return. As women, we want to feel protected, nurtured and wanted. Whilst, men like to take on the protective, heroic, needed role. This should never be abused, a godly man would always honour this as a role from God.

Studies have proven that if you were to put a young boy and girl into a room with two boxes, one containing boys trucks and action heroes, the other with girls dolls and playing clothes.  The girl would opt for the dolls and the boy to the trucks. Same way that God designed us daughters with a princess heart to want to be looked after, delicately handled, pursued and sought after. Lavished with love and be treated like a princess! You have been clothed with beauty. Make sure you understand and maintain this ladies. You are a princess! Most importantly Gods Princess.

Once you receive the love of God, you can learn to be loved, and can healthily love others.

Don’t worry ladies, if you’re reading this thinking what about the single ladies? I will be covering this topic in my next post. In the meantime, you can read this as advice for when you are married 🙂

Come along to our meeting on Saturday 7th February 2015 to hear more on discovering yourself as the woman who God has created you to be. Like us on Facebook for further information.

Looking for ideas – Take a shower

Uncategorized

You don’t realise how busy you are until you’ve come up with the greatest idea in none other than your shower!

image

Why is it? Why do we seem to have the best ideas when we’re… in the shower?!

Experts say you process upto 60-80,000 thoughts a day!

From leaving the car to walking into the restaurant (5 steps) I think
-Did I lock the car (double lock…Just encase)
-Have I got my phone
-Does my husband have his phone
-He asks if I have his wallet
-I say no
-Then think to check my bag (and yes, it’s there!)
-Then I recall he was the last one to exit the house
-Did HE lock the house?

It goes on and on…

Days can be so full on, until you’re finallly standing under a pelting stream of water so warm and comforting at the what nearly is, end of your day.
With a serene white all around; you finally realise this is bliss! Then…tad ah!

The greatest idea you’ve had all day.

Why is that?

1. There’s no distractions
2. You have no phone, nor social media so rather than  posting every thought you are forced to process in your mind
3. It’s a clean, tranquil place with the sound of running water which allows your mind to roam

Conclusion: If your stuck for innovative ideas – take a shower!

It’s about who’s around the tree this Christmas

Uncategorized

This week I had such a witness on my spirit when I heard this statement;

“It’s not what’s under the tree that matters, but who’s around it”10849962_795859720477218_3847925711196284568_n

People make Christmas after all? It was for this very purpose Jesus came into the world. To bring peace and joy, reconciliation and freedom for those enslaved under the law. For many, Christmas is a day dreaded by many, due to broken down families, loneliness, loss of loved ones and memories of bad Christmases past. Having grown up in a broken home with disunity among the family, I would long just for a warm home with a family that was filled with love and all got along. When you’re a child it’s all about gifts and all those sweets! As the years have passed I have come to desire the simpler things in life.

As a young Christian in her early 20’s I wanted to be married and establish a family of my own. God is so faithful and this will be the first Christmas I shall spend as Mr & Mrs! Yay!

I still remain with the very same viewpoint though, it’s about those around us. May we invest in relationships this year. As newlywed I cannot afford the extravagant gifts, but the one gift I do have is priceless. Love. As Paul so perfectly put it in 1 Corinthians 13 v 13 without this you genuinely are nothing. Brothers and sisters Love is the greatest gift of all and regardless of what life throws at you, without relationship and fellowship you truly cannot go through life. God created us for fellowship. Reach out to someone this year. A neighbour, a friend? Where will they be spending Christmas. You may just surprise yourself.
